In collaboration with the brillant educators from Bright Little Sparks we will be running a workshop for 5 to to 10 year olds this School Term. A chemical reaction is when two or more substances mix and create something new—a new colour, gas, temperature change, or even a whole new material. Kids explore this through hands‑on, low‑mess, high‑wow activities.

Wood STEAM

This session also invites STEMlets to explore the wonder of wood — discovering its textures, strengths, and possibilities as they design and build a home for their very own imaginary mini pet and craft personalised wooden name plates to take home. It’s creativity, engineering, and storytelling all rolled into one joyful making experience.

Learning through STEM

We (a group of talented female educators and assistants) run STEM workshops for children throughout the term and in school holidays.

Workshops (2-4hours) are based on a scientific theory with a core focus on the development of STEM related thinking and learning skills. STEMlets (Children in STEM) will engage with a wide variety of materials and content as they explore and discover the world around them.

Not only will the STEMlets learn new concepts they will bring home a finished product of what they have been working on. Sessions are rich in learning and most importantly fun!
