STEM - mas @ Bright Little Sparks

We had a fabulous time at Bright Little Sparks on Friday hosting our STEMtastic Christmas workshop. We started the day off with Snowman Catapults exploring the difference between kinetic and potential energy. It was a blast to see how far we could launch our snowmen and even try to get them into the basketball ring.

We spent the rest of the morning working on various experiments, and learnt that through the design process sometimes we have to redesign our experiments because they didn't work as we would have liked.

The highlight of the day was our Santa's sleighs that explored how basic circuitry works. Our sleighs zoomed along the floor at Bright Little Sparks.

It was such a busy day that we only captured a couple of moments on film, but we are sure that there were plenty of special moments for our STEMlets. Tell us what was your highlight of the day.
